As someone looking to install linux dual boot on a win 10 system (to second m.2 drive) I was VERY surprised (not so much scared) when you chose "erase disk" instead of "alongside". It's probably why you had boot menu issues after install. In my experience "erase disk" means "I want this new OS to be the only OS on my machine". If selecting "alongside" I would expect to be able to either install to the same disk as Windows by shrinking the partition and creating a new one for linux, or selecting another disk and telling the installer to use that either fully or partially (what I want to do). It should then also correctly add the expected boot menu option. But anyway, as shown in this video linux installers are still misleading and/or poorly tested software. So disappointing for such an critical task.
It tries to look like Windows and installing the bootloader on the wrong disk is such a Windows thing to do. Job well done, kinda.
This is a joke and it's really funny
Awesome video, I trimmed a bit over the stuff, can fully understand your take on Zorin and is indeed valid. As for the Gnome lag that you encounter is strange, for me KDE the desktop etc is way more sluggish than Gnome for some reason and a friend with AMD also had that same problem with KDE. It's like some animations aren't 165hz and in general there is this input lag, but I still rock KDE only.
Awesome content as usual btw, love your streams and content!
OOhhh I missed it, but I'm happy you looked at it.
good stuff
Goodluck everyone I hope we find our Linux distro I am also ditching Arch Linux for Mint I want a Windows based Linux rather than Arch Linux I'm not going through all that hell just for KDE to just start breaking I knew I should of stayed on Mint to begin with ever since I switched I only used it because Linus Tech Tips recommended it.
