How to install CentOS 7 Linux on NVMe in legacy server without NVMe boot support
Happy New Year to all my viewers!
In this video, I’m going to show you how to install CentOS 7 Linux on a NVMe drive (Intel P3605 1.6TB) in a Dell PowerEdge R510 that does *NOT* support NVMe booting. To accomplish this, I exploit the bootstrap process of Linux operating system and a USB drive. This process can also be applied to other older systems that do not support NVMe booting directly, but should at least be able to boot off a USB drive.
