Kailyn’s story and a bit of our lives. Her battle with Ewings Sarcoma and a promise that a father couldn’t keep. Ewings Sarcoma is a bone cancer that impacts 200-250 children and adolescents a year in the US. That is 2.93 children per 1,000,000.
The fact that there are so few cases a year means that there is minimal funding. In fact, the less than 4% of federal funding goes towards treatments of pediatric cancer.
