UBUNTU Part 4: Standing on a Solid Foundation: The Legacy of Global Leaders at HBCUs
A celebration of three figures within the HBCU community; Gretchen Cook-Anderson, Dr. ‘Dimeji Otunde, and Dr. Keshia Abraham. The learning objectives of this HBCU collaborative event were:
* Participants be inspired by and gain appreciation of several trailblazers within the field of study abroad who have significantly impacted HBCUs and their students
* Participants understand the history of global education at HBCUs
* Participants learn about career pathways in international education as a Black professional
This event was hosted by the Study Abroad Offices at Howard University, Morgan State University and Prairie View A&M.
