To refresh and renew IP address on your Mac computer, do the following:

  • Open System Preferences.
  • Open Network.
  • Select your network connection.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Select the TCP/IP tab.
  • Click Renew DHCP Lease.
  • Quit System Preferences.
