Ctrl+ shift+Esc -File- Run New task-type services.msc check the box under it and click ok
In the list double click on
AppReadiness -under startup type select disabled-apply -ok

I'm running Windows 8.1. I can't log in because it keeps loading a black screen with a white mouse cursor. What am I doing wrong. I'm frustrated. This is a $2500 laptop that is currently 7 years old. So I can't even do the Ctrl Alt del solution because I am not loaded into my windows account. I can't get that far. Any suggestions???

I have the same issue, but when I do alt+ctl+ delete windows screen (Windows 7) comes without any option to select Task Manager. after some time it will return to the black screen with cursor. Can you advice ?
