How To Fix Hard Drive Not Showing During Windows 10 Installation [Solved]

In this video, I will show you guys how to fix no drives were found. Click load driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation.
Sometimes hard drives or hard disk not showing during windows installation in that time you can use my method to fix your missing drives error.

Make Sure You have Backup your drives before following my steps.
Because It will erase all your data on your Disk

Commands:

diskpart

select disk 0

clean

    basically open diskpart on your laptop with USB inserted and select the USB disk and add "create partition primary"

  • What if after list disk it says There are no fixed disks to show, even i have fixed ssd

  • bro just killed my usb. managed to find a fix to it using another video tho. basically for anyone in the same position: on that black screen thing where your typing after ‘DISKPART>’ type ‘create partition primary’. that will make ur usb normal again after u format it

  • Many thanks. But it doesn't work – on mini pc with Z8350 and eMMC disk. After the command "diskpart" and "list disk" it will show only the (USB) disk with Windows installation. I think I need the RST driver for the Z8350. But I can't find the driver anywhere…

  • I just did a fresh install of windows 10 on my SSD. I have another HD with all my files on it and wasn't showing up. Just open disk management and right-click on the foreign disk. Select Import foreign disk. Should come up with all your files.
