EDITING GRUB FOR AVX 512 DISABLING
sudo nano /etc/sysconfig/grub
add clearcpupid=304 at the end of GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX
update grub by doing
sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /etc/grub2-efi.cfg

INCREASING VM MAX MAP COUNT
sudo nano /etc/sysctl.d/vm.max_map_count.conf
add
vm.max_map_count=2147483642
then save 🙂

  • I get ~165 fps avg on Arch, just like in Windows
    All settings on low except textures on high. Ryzen 5600x + Radeon 6800 XT

  • Arent you suppose to leave shader cache on to avoid stutters and speedup loading times?

  • Game works for me. But it runs not quite well, on windows its butter smooth

  • by any chance if you have tekken 8, could you make a video about setting that game up? there have been a lot of issues on getting that game setup for linux, especially going into online mode
