Panel Discussion: Best practices for setting up an OpenStack environment for Dev and Production

OpenStack comes with many different options for deployment and packaging.

Finding the right setup for development and production environment can be fairly complex task.
There are couple of approaches and solutions designed to address this challenge through configuration management frameworks such as Chef and Puppet as well as management frameworks that are more specific to OpenStack deployment , Fuel (Mirantis), Foreman (Redhat), as well as pre-packaged appliances which provide hardware and software – pre-integrated such as Nebula. OpenStack Heat is also aimed to address this challenge.

In this panel we discuss the pros and cons with each approach as well as the best practices based on real life experience.
