What’s new in File Manager for Windows, macOS and Linux ‘Ant Commander Pro’ version 4.10.

Version 4.10 (May 2024):
Rich Text Editor:
– Added syntax highlight for JSON
– Try to use JetBrains/IntelliJ theme as much as possible when Using Flat IntelliJ LaF
– Use defined look and feel line highlighter
Applet Runner:
– Stop and bookmark buttons should refer to the correct applet runner panel
– Do not initialize applets twice
– Close first any eventually previously opened applet before starting a new one
– No applet actions for not pro version as it causes an error
Bookmarks:
– Show files with file names, icon, color and full url as tooltip
– Added filter field
Files:
– File operations buttons pause and cancel are now square
– Remove showing percentage when file operation is cancelled
– Disable pause and cancel buttons when file operation is cancelled
– Show progress per file when estimated more than 1 second
– Fixed incorrect filtering of hidden files
– Run as, open as administrator and Windows file properties only enabled when on local file system
– When less than 4 conflicts in files hitting enter in the text field will accept the form
– Avoid duplicate entries in file history
– Add file icon in file history
– No error logging if clearing cache fails
Actions:
– Added Project Dashboard action
– Copy files is done with Files.copy (faster) when input and output are local files
– Move files is done with Files.copy (faster) & delete when input and output are local files from different file systems
– When ‘New Tab’ is chosen in Add Panel, the text field gets the focus and select previous text
– Close panel (ctrl + w) will close the panel with the last focus component
– Replace panel will replace the panel with the last focus component
– Fixed PanelModel sometimes not initialized correctly in replace panel
– Added monitor changes action
– http and https urls are now using HttpClient 4 library
Other:
– Support for .zip and .jar when browsing for Theme json in IntelliJ LaF
– Show external panels like preview always on top if Ant Commander is always on top
– Upgraded from Apache Commons VFS 2 2.10.0-SNAPSHOT (May 2024)
– Added commons-vfs2-ant.jar for Ant Commander Pro
– Added Apache Commons IO library version 2.16.1 as required to initialize VFS
– Upgraded from Apache Commons Codec 1.15 to Apache Commons Codec 1.16.1
– Upgraded from Apache Commons Compress 1.25.0 to Apache Commons Compress 1.26.1
– Upgraded from Apache Commons Logging 1.3.0 to Apache Commons Logging 1.3.1
– Downgraded Jackrabbit-WebDAV library from 2.21.22 to 2.20.15 as 2.21 is labeled as unstable
– Upgraded SLF4J library from 1.7.2 to 2.0.12
– Removed Apache Commons HttpClient
– Various bug fixes and small improvements in the application framework
