Networking – IP Address Basics
This lesson basically focuses on the concepts of the IP addresses. In this we discuss about how the addressing is done in the Internet with the use of IP addresses, the versions of IP addresses, the network and the broadcasting addresses, the Subnet Mask and about the IP classes. It gives the idea how to get the network portion and the host portion of an IP address using the subnet mask and at the end how to determine the class of an IP address.
This lesson can be used by the students following Advanced Level ICT & the university level students.
