Apple Silicon DIY: RISC-V is Serious About It.

David Patterson, the father of RISC and RAID chip architecture has a vision: to make RISC-V the Linux for the computer architecture within 5 years. RISC-V aspires to be an alternative to ARM and it is free. The recent presentation of the Apple Mac, based on ARM architecture, was a preview of what RISC-V users can also accomplish in the future. Here is the vision, as presented at the RISC-V Global Forum.
