BRKACI-2505 Deploying Kubernetes with Cisco ACI
In this session, you will learn about the integration of Cisco ACI with Kubernetes. The session will start with a brief introduction to micro services architectures and related container cluster managers, specifically Kubernetes. We will also explain the key challenges IT organizations face when implementing Kubernetes. Then, we will explain and demonstrate the integration between Cisco ACI and Kubernetes. We will demonstrate the key benefits that ACI brings to environments using native Kubernetes, including: (1) how ACI enables seamless connectivity between applications running on containers and those running on VMs or Bare Metal, (2) ACI enabling security between application tiers regardless of the form factor, (3) ACI providing distributed load balancing for containers and (4) a single pane of glass with equivalent visibility in APIC for containers and VMs. Finally, we will show how ACI CNI plugin is non-intrusive for developers, requiring no changes to their workflows.
