copy a SQL database from physical to virtual machine using IP address
In this video we will copy a SQL database from physical server to virtual machine using IP address:
step 1
create a folder in VM share it by right click and share give access permisions to everyone.
step 2
access the server by typing the IP address followed by double back slash (\)
Step 3
the folder will appear and copy the files
to attach the DB open MS SQL management studio
and right click on Database
attach and browse to the file.
