Install and configure the necessary dependencies
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y curl openssh-server ca-certificates tzdata
sudo apt-get install -y postfix
Add the GitLab package repository.
curl https://packages.gitlab.com/install/repositories/gitlab/gitlab-ee/script.deb.sh | sudo bash
sudo EXTERNAL_URL=”http:// Please change url ” sudo apt-get install gitlab-ee=13.4.1-ee.0
Start gitlab :-
sudo gitlab-ctl reconfigure
3. Browse to the hostname and login
On your first visit, you’ll be redirected to a password reset screen. Provide the password for the initial administrator account and you will be redirected back to the login screen. Use the default account’s username root to login.
