Drakan: Order of the Flame is an action-adventure computer game developed by Surreal Software and published by Psygnosis in 1999. The game follows Rynn, a young woman with extraordinary martial skills, and an ancient dragon Arokh on their quest to free Rynn’s younger brother from the evil sorcerer Navaros. The gameplay alternates between dungeon exploration and monster fighting when Rynn is alone and aerial dogfights when she mounts Arokh. A sequel, Drakan: The Ancients’ Gates, was released in 2002.

my god. it's incredible,. the graphics compared to the ones we have now might look ridicolous, but this is STILL one of the most immersive, fascinating, carismatic games i've ever played. so good

This game is about my childhood and our very first computer in our house. My brother bought this game,it came in a magazine and I can remember I used to be so terrified about all those monsters, but my brother was brave and I was staying with hours just to see him playing and covering my eyes, sometimes.Nice memories, when our parents used to live and everything was so easy…thats what is Darkan about, for us.(And yes, wrote on purpose Darkan, because back then that's how I was used to name this game)

Flying around on the dragon was my best memory of this game. Mystical and engaging.

I used to play this game as a kid, I was probably 6 or 7, on the boxy Windows 7 computer, and mostly watch my brothers play this too (backseat gamer, amirite?). And since then, I couldn't remember the title at all until today…Nostalgia trips are weirdly frustrating yet satisfying lol

I learned of this franchise via the Ancients' Gates on PS2(had no idea it was a sequel.) I was so taken with the PS2 game, that once I discovered Order Of The Flame…I immediately got a copy.I was so utterly disappointed with it,because I was so spoiled with the majesty of the Ancients' Gates graphics and story line.I actually hated the PC version,as it's a terrrible joke, compared to the PS2 version.
