Dream Machine vs. Edgerouter

In this video I go over some of the differences and similarities between the Unifi Dream Machine (or Security Gateway) and the Ubiquiti Edgerouter line. This is a question I’ve been asked frequently and decided I’d make a high-level overview explaining the thought-process on deciding which one may be right for you.

Caution: This is by no means an in-depth look at all the differences. I go over the differences from a pretty high level just to give some sort of an idea of what goes into the consideration. One devices is not “better” than the other, but one may be a better fit or better value depending on what you are looking to accomplish.
