Energy sector's role in driving decarbonization and renewable energy adoption

While the energy sector is not the biggest contributor to the energy crisis, it is a key part of the solution. Christophe Villemer, Executive Vice President at Savoir-faire Linux, explains that decarbonization will require increased electricity use from renewable sources like solar and wind. Modernization efforts of the outdated, legacy grid are needed to handle more flexible and diverse energy production and consumption patterns. New technologies will need to be adopted to modernize the grid to help meet future energy needs, such as AI and virtualization. Villemer discusses how LF Energy is working to aid this transition.
