  • Thanks. This got my WiFi working on a dual-boot Linux Mint/MacOS 2012 Macbook Pro.

  • Thank you very much! I wish u best regards! Now my old MacBook Pro mid 2012 got new life.

  • i see people got it to work on a mini; and I am assuming to hit enter after each line.

  • anybody know how to fix the issue with the facetime camera not showing up on cheese?

  • Thank you very much = Kubuntu on 2007 Imac is ok now

  • Followed your instructions after getting Ubuntu installed on a 2008 MacBook, followed it all, and everything shown was done and complete. However I can't get WiFi to be visible, it's almost as though it's not turned on… "No WiFi Adapter Found" is all that is displayed under WiFi in the settings panel…

    Any Ideas??

  • Perfecto! En una hora máximo se soluciona el problema con estas instrucciones. Thank you very much

  • Many thanks just installed Ubuntu on an old Imac that was running OS X El Capitan version 10.11 this fixed the no wifi problem 🙂 26th of June 2023

  • Excellent instructions – thank you for helping me breathe new life into my 2011 MacBook Air!

  • I got Internet over Bluetooth working using my wireless hotspot but it’s really slow so doing this tutorial to get Wi-Fi which is much faster 😃

    Edit: IT WORKED!

  • Thank you so much for the tutorial! I didn't have a ethernet to usb adapter but I just used my phone with a cable to hotspot over to my Mac. Only used about 200MB so a great alternative instead of going out to buy an adapter that I'll only use once.

  • Thank you, its work like a charm, typing from my MacBook Pro on Ubuntu, via WIFI – LoL!!!!!!!!!

  • Worked on Linux Mint – WiFi is now working as it should. The adapter wasn't even recognised before following these simple instructions. Thanks

  • Hi. can you explain how to do it without a gui? I have an old mac and don't want to start the gui,

  • Works fine in Mac Air 2015 and Linux Zorin OS !! Thanks a lot!!!
