I have Acer Extensa 215-52. I want to dual boot it with ubuntu. But my harddisk partitions are not showing while installing ubuntu 18. Only bootable USB is showing as /dev/sda. No Other media is showing. It should show all partitions from hard disk. I have made 200GB unallocated space through disk management. in it shows HDD1 instead of HDD0. Do you think this is the cause not showing the partitions?

I installed Ubuntu onto my laptop and it’s working perfectly fine however when I tried installing it on my desktop for some reason it only takes my leeboards input and not my mouse. However if I plug the mouse into where the keyboard was in the mouse will work and the keyboard won’t. Can anyone give me advice on how to solve this problem?

It's mandatory to Select Alongside with Windows 10 in UEFI?
Because I believe that it's safer to create a different partition as you did in Legacy Video.
    Please answer ASAP.

I am doing exactly the same on my Acer Aspire A315 56 laptop bought a week ago. However, the Ubuntu installer (and also Linux Mint and Fedora installers) is not detecting the internal 1TB HDD drive. Windows 10 is working fine and the disk is GPT and UEFI mode. BIOS detects hard drive and I changed SATA to AHCI. I turned off Secure boot and fast boot but still installers of none of the Linux distros noted above have detected the hard drive for dual boot. Can you please help Sir. Thanks in advance.
