  • But what if you want to boot from a CD or Thumb Drive. Making the HD the first device to boot from, IS NOT THE CHOICE YOU WANT FIRST. You should ALWAYS allow for other boot devices to boot from FIRST, then make the HD the LAST CHOICE.
