How to Install Ubuntu Desktop on Raspberry PI
In this video I will show you how to install Ubuntu Desktop on a Raspberry PI 5.
Ubuntu Desktop is a great alternative to using Raspberry PI OS on your Raspberry PI. If you are already an Ubuntu user you may find this a more comfortable and familiar environment – or you may just be curious about running alternative operating systems on your Raspberry PI.
I will cover how to prepare the SD card and how to complete the installation of Ubuntu Desktop.
I will also demonstrate how to install the SSH server on the new Ubuntu installation and then how to connect to it from a Windows desktop on the same network.
