How to Verify a Downloaded ISO Linux and Windows 10

In this video I will be demonstrating how to verify your downloaded ISO in Linux and Windows 10. Checking the verification of an ISO is very important, it gives you peace of mind that any possible errors would be minimised during the installation process and if any errors were to arise, you know that the integrity of the ISO is not at fault and any further fault finding would most likely have to be explored within the installer or the distro itself. Hope you enjoy the video.

PCTLC I just use an application call GtkHash very simple tool and no need to use the terminal at all since it is a GUI application which is very simple and easy to use I just like easy stuff and hate the terminal not I don't ever use it but if I can avoid it I will LOL :0

Thanks Colin , very informative cause I seem to go about it wrong when checking the checksums. Also going to watch Sleepy's video on that subject. Take care and stay safe.

Thanks Colin for the video. I didn't do this very often in Windows, did not know how or even remembered how to do it in linux. 🙂
