Learning Linux Lesson 23 Installing the Apache Web Server on SUSE Linux

To make sure the web files are stored on their own volume we create a mount point /srv/www first and mount our LVMs to it. This will ensure that when web pages are added they are stored on their own file-system. Thn we use zypper to install the packages. With the installation done we can view the web page have started the web server with rcapache2 start. Finally we look at the configuration files in /etc/apache2 and enable the service to autostart with chkconfig.
