In this video we look at the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) settings on a Synology Router.

We also take a look at how you can reserve IP addresses in DHCP using a function called DHCP Reservation. You would use DHCP Reservation when connecting devices that are shared on your network and require a fixed IP address. DHCP Reservation would be used for devices such as Network Attached Storage, Security Cameras or Printers.
