DESCRIPTION
The TicWatch Pro 4G LTE, the most advanced TicWatch yet, and now includes cellular circuitry to support 4G LTE calls, texts and data using the Verizon network. Like the original Ticwatch Pro, t incorporates two completely different screens bonded together and dynamically switched through Layered Display Technology. This allows for super low power consumption when the LCD screen is active (looks like your old digital watch) and a vivid color OLED screen for active use of the watch. Together they insure you can always see the time, indoors or out, bright or dark.

This TicWatch adds special 4G LTE capability, is a bit lighter in weight, and offers a new, softer band than the original Ticwatch Pro. Here are other features unique to the 4G LTE version:

HARDWARE

* 4G LTE cellular capability

* RAM upgrades from 512MB to 1GB

* Longer battery life (2-30 days depending on use)

* Redesigned higher, more pliable band

* IP68 Water resistance (structurally supports swimming) with pool swim suitable speaker

* Design: Coming in at 11g lighter than the TicWatch Pro, the TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE is built to impress and last by sporting a steel bezel and MIL-STD-810G durability

* NOTE: Due to 4G’s law in America, this watch only supports GPS/GLONASS/Beidou without Galileo

SOFTWARE

* Emergency SOS with location sharing (with 4G LTE active and data enabled)

* Exclusive Number sharing with standalone calls and SMS (with 4G LTE active and data enabled)

* TicMoton 2.0 – Click free motion tracking for proactive for running and fast walking tracking

* TicPulse – 24hr heart rate monitoring, daily heart rate line chart, daily heart rate zones, 7-day heart rate history, abnormal heart rate warning

* Cloud Synchronization – Sync messaging and email app alerts from your smartphone to your TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE, Bluetooth-free and also without downloading a standalone app for Gmail, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts and SMS on Android smartphones

    Is there a watch with a mic and a speaker that can tether phone calls and respond to text through bluetooth?

    I work in an area that my watch apparently has difficulty receiving a signal in. My phone does not have this issue. I decided to test if switching from the cell's number to the watch number would help and it did. I could reply to text messages I'd previously received on the watch number but on the phone's number, when I touched the reply arrow I continued to receive the "you are offline" message. I do not want to have to give out another phone number to people. They shouldn't need to have to decide which number to reach me on depending if I'm at work or not.

    What's going on here?

    For what it's worth, friends with the Samsung Galaxy and Apple 4G LTE watches do not have the same issues in my building when using their phones numbers. I'm disappointed and close to giving up on the TicWatch. I have only one need from a watch, to send and receive calls and texts while at work where I am unable to have my cellphone with me. Fitness tracking, music playing, and things like traffic and weather info are useless to me in a watch.

    I see now why Verizon is the only carrier available. If we want to clone our phone number on the watch we are going to have to have our cell number on Verizon as well.

    SIM Calling? For crying out loud, Ticks! IT DOESN'T HAVE A SIM– AND IT ISN'T TRULY STANDALONE LIKE A SIM CARD BASED WATCH! This video should've been one minute long at most. If any of you viewers somehow read this before watching the video, I just saved you twenty excruciating minutes of watching a guy get sucked down a marketing jargon rabbit hole. There aren't any "new" "features" here, just the same old bandwagon that Mobvoi is just now able to climb aboard. If you're looking for a modern Gear S, then this isn't it.

    Use my LG Watch Sport with its own SIM card for calls etc when out and about without my smartphone.
    At first the battery life was very poor, but over time the software updates have sorted the battery life, and then changing the battery for a new one, with latest software, as resulted in an easy days battery life. Problem is these latest new watches with eSIM don't make it easy to use a contract free phone/data plan.

    Having 4g on a watch is handy if you leave the phone at home , works well but does eat battery life , with 3g being killed in europe to make way for 5g buying a watch needs 4g if you buy a android only watch or even watch os , least your future proof , its a handy extra even if you dont use it much.
