Outlook 2016/2013 Password Prompt Issue – 2018 FIX

annoying Microsoft outlook 2010, 2013 or most likely 2016 issue. Where you will constantly get a popup to enter your credentials for connecting to your mail server or shared mailbox.

A recent update was released for windows 10 and Office 2016, that introduces some office 365 features which now breaks authentication and causes issues.

The fix as usual with any Microsoft issue is to remove the offending update or apply the easy to use registry fix
