Process This: Time Sensitive Networking Using Linux on AM64x Processors
Full webinar schedule
https://training.ti.com/process-monthly-webinar-series
In this webinar, learn how to enable deterministic networking across a line
topology of several nodes using the Time Sensitive Networking (TSN)
capabilities of AM64x processors.
*Webinar agenda:*
* Presentation of the Time Sensitive Networking capabilities of the on-chip
hardware switch, including low-latency cut-through switching
* Demo showing how to enable TSN capabilities using standard Linux software
interfaces
* Discussion of the different Texas Instruments platforms that enable TSN
*About TSN on AM64x*
The built-in cut-through switching with IEEE802.1Q-2018 TSN capabilities can
be setup using standard Linux interfaces and offloaded to Ethernet interfaces
and a built-in switch. Key features include generic Precision Time Protocol
(gPTP) 802.1AS-2011, preemption (IET/Qbu), and Time-Aware Shaper (EST/Qbv).
