The Qin series shares the name of the famous Chinese dynasty, but in English, it sounds more like “chin.” The first two phones are similar in looks – 2.8” screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, tucked along with the keypad in a 132 x 53.8 x 8.5 mm body. There is a dual slot for micro SIM
The Qin 1s comes out with Spreadtrum chipset with two Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. RAM is 512MB, while storage is 4GB. Connectivity includes VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2. It has a USB-C charger and stereo speakers (one which doubles as the earpiece) on the top and bottom of the phone.
Unique features include Xiaomi’s Xiao AI digital assistant, smart language translator, and online radio stations. The phone runs on a heavily customized version of Android underneath.
