  • I just reported a guy cheating in GTA5 onIine so he started attacking me and then he said that he had my IP, that he was going to bIackIist me, that he was going to send swat to my house, and put my IP in the dark web. Are these things he can do? I am an ignorant on this matter. Ty

  • i mean, i play gta online and it feels just like home, as inflated as egypt

  • You know what would be nuts? If there was a way to add your IP address to a "DDoS" exclusion list for as many services as possible. Basically, ask the services "Hey I don't intent on stress testing my IP any time soon so can you make sure no one can target my IP?" And then if some nutjob tries to target you, well error message 🙂

Though I bet some services wouldn't add this because they know that those type of people make them a bunch of cash

  • Personally ihave the opressor mk2 but I only use it for the Cayo heist setups

  • Not when you blend into your environment I'm phasmic in games aka self insert

  • today my IP adress my Location my Provider everythink was leakt in the GTA Chat THX rockstar

  • Let's be honest, the IP Address is not really that private of information. It doesn't really leak any private information of any significance. Even if they know the region and zip code of your provider, it doesn't mean anything. I live in Southwest Miami, it doesn't actually tell you anything about me.

  • IPS with OSINT can be used to query breached databases to correlate with exposed emails, names, passwords, usernames, phone numbers and addresses

  • Rockstar game network code is actually laughable to a point that i cant beleive a AAA developer actually made it, the hackers on pc are in every lobby, and they can now even block ban reports from ever reaching Rockstar and it tells the hack who sent the ban request, and you can just go only and buy a mod menu, it extremely easy apprently. AND this is why only ever play gta online in a closed friend session. Ive litterally watched hacker type the ip address of other players in chat, its actually terrifying. SO yeah, if ya wanna play gta online, only do it on closed sessions and use a vpn anyway

  • The motion blur on the thumbnail makes me laugh, whyyyyy

  • Why is it like a Russian roulette with the audio level.
Some videos have good audio levels and other videos making me think that I'm losing my hearing ability.

  • How do you use a VPN if playing on Playstation Network??

  • Honestly at this point it wouldn’t really surprise me if half of these mod menu things are actually just rockstar employees or affiliates setting up these services on the low to make even more money on the side

  • 15:50 they have to say this but kinda stupid “Strictly to be used in single player” ._. Why have the network tab and why even make it work on online. LMAO

  • I think my isp blocked gta 5. Now I cant even play a game I paid for. The only other reason I can think is Rockstar blocked or banned me which makes no sense since I haven't used any mods…

  • "Why don't you take a moment, while your sitting on that big fat pile of cash, to fix your fucking game!"

  • Hey muta, this isn't related to the topic of this video really but it seems like something you might be interested in. Everytime I watch one of your videos that happens to be about Rockstar or GTA I keep getting scam ads for GTA V "mobile", claiming to be an official port of GTA V for smart phones. The weird part is that every single one of these ads comes from a different website, and whenever you click on the learn more button it will redirect you to some website with an article about GTA vice city for some reason. This of course seems like a huge scam, I'm just at a loss as to why YouTube has been allowing these false ads (which do use Rockstars copyrighted logo and IP's) on their platform. I report these whenever I get em for being spam or misleading but it doesn't seem like youtube has done anything about it at all. Idk if you'd like to talk about this since it has to deal with two things I know you're passionate about (namely, GTA and scams/malware) but I figured I would leave a comment in order to raise awareness that these ads are complete bunk.

  • I reported cheaters for stealing my IP adress and Rockstar send me Automatic Messeges….
    They dont give a…..
    Rockstar shit.

  • The crazy thing is that a lot of players buy these mod menus to protect themselves from other players with mod menus, it's a vicious cycle that never ends and those scumbag menu creators are making serious money from it, also dedicated servers would probably help with all the glitches like godmode on consoles. this game online is beyond broken it's become unplayable, every lobbies has at least 1 or 2 toxic modders in it, Rockstar are absolute trash for not fixing this and yet this game is still in the top 10 most played game on steam so the "community" is also to blame for feeding that monster.

  • I never want to hear the words APB Reloaded unironically ever again

  • When I was young, playing video games and fumbling with bras like a sweaty octopus….I never thought MY hobby would serve to be the BatSign of GREED of our times.

Take 2, you might unseat EA one day.

  • I bought a mod menu saw that it dozed everyone in the game I bought a vpn immediately fuck that

  • My son and I play GTA 5 online all the time on the PS5 and I had NO IDEA that it was P to P and that IPs were so readily available. THANK YOU FOR THE INFO!!

  • Rockstar do not provide any security, any rockstar game is like that, they leak GDPR information to anyone. Everykid can go and get a free mod menu that leak that kind of information.

  • He's saying so many things that are wrong but i still agree with what he's saying

  • It's nice to see that there are sill games like Payday 2. It has the same stuff, with one host for the lobby and everyone needs to connect to him.

  • It's so hard to make money as a solo in gta online. GTA 5 is a fun and great game when you can play it without a lobby of mk2 greifers

  • At this point, I think it would just be better to promote these mod menus in hopes of completely destroying GTAO. Maybe Rockstar will finally do something then. The problem isn't just that they get your IP address, it's how insanely in control they are over YOUR game. Once they fuck with you, you have to restart the game for the problems to disappear.

  • Never play gta online without a vpn. They cannot fix this issue, pretty sure its hard baked into the entire game. Every single mod menu has the feature where you can see every single person in your lobbies IP.

  • 1:15  yeah no, I live in the same country as you, you're either going to be telus, shaw, or Roger's, unless you live in some remote areas, shaw and telus are the most common. I worked with all 3 of them before and you can literally renew your ip. on top of it they provide security to their customers or it'd be a violation of crtc. Muta I love you to death but cmon man, ip leaking, it's a joke. Especially in my home country.

  • I know nobody will read this but ill rant anyways. I've been modding for years. I am automatically grouped to the degenerates out there, yet I have never griefed ever, at least on purpose. But what I have done is removed THOUSANDS of griefers from lobbies, and oh boy I can't even count how many thanks I've received over it. Cheating is always part of any online game, but p2p allows it to go nuts with it, just like in this case. First 5 years they did absolutely nothing about modders, but it's different nowadays. There are moderators who manually ban people, and they removed (aka detected) most money cheats and exploits, but of course they can't get rid of it fully.

Modding aint the problem, I'm veteran gta 4 online player and pretty much no one played without mods at the end. It's the people, moreover the kids. Even the free mod menus can cause so much disturbance in the session, that it becomes unplayable. The paid mod menus are pretty safe in most cases, sure we don't know fully how much are logged but I trust what I've had and I've always been good, but I don't blame you scaring people away from it, no harm in that.

Another thing, people always blame rockstar, it is NOT rockstars fault, it's fully on take2. Rockstar even defended singleplayer mod bans back in the day from their mother company, which is just insane to think about. When something is related to money, it is MOST LIKELY the mother company. The amount i understand about GTA V online, is that yeah, it's pretty much impossible to implement dedicated servers at this point, but also I am very sure GTA 6 will be different. P2P allows so much cheating that is impossible to fix, and they do know how much it impacts their revenue. One of the reasons why gta 6 has been delayed so long is most likely this, they have to rewrite the engine FOR ONLINE.

But like i said, no one will read this, if you did say hello..

  • Btw let u know that it takes 3 lines of code in c++ to get someone’s ip in gta and booting them is even easier

  • its honestly sad that rock star didn't implement servers in rdr2. youd think in a new game theyd you know put effort in at least the privacy of their players. nope. i get bombed second i join online. ive heard some people get these mod menus just for the protections to play the game normally. Rockstar needs to act like a company that makes triple A games in 2021.

  • im not gonna lie before i watched this video i had NO IDEA that rockstar games leaks ip's basically on purpose and its astonishing to me that a game made by one person (phasmophobia) is doing a better job than a multimillion dollar company that made a game (GTA V) that millions of people have played its honestly pathetic -_-

  • At this point i wonder why do people still buy anything from shit company as R*

  • Money mods are perfectly fine in an old game that gives half pennies and asks for billions in return.
