What are some use cases for this? It sounds nice that the client does not notice the failover, but how does the server that was failed over to (BBB) know the state of the communication? Example: the client just sent the HTTP request to AAA, then a failover happens to BBB, but BBB does not know anything about the request.

So failover without the need for a load balancer or reverse proxy just with ip and arp. Sounds good.

What about if only the heartbeat connection goes down, leading to split brain type issue? Each server will think the other is down, and both assume ownership of the vip/mac?

    Hello Nasser hussein,
Thank you very much for your videos, I am one of your followers.

I am kind of lost,I can't really find my passion, seeing you very optimistic and passionnate about the subjects inspires me. Can you please give me a way to communicate with you privately so you can help ?
