The partnership of Betfair, Redhat and Nuage Networks present the journey from RFP to Production for Betfair’s prive cloud. Â This 12 month programme has delivered a fully automated, scalable, resillient OpenStack solution. Betfair’s vision was to deliver an API-driven infrastructure encompassing compute, storage, network and application delivery. Â This had to be capable of handling the high transactional load of Betfair’s day-to-day operations (circa 2.7Bn API calls, 120M daily transactions).
