Windows Server 2008: share a printer

This is a video on how to share a printer on server 2008. The process is similar in Server 2003 / 2000, Windows XP / Pro / Vista / 7. I share the printer in a workgroup. The ideal method is to share it in a domain so that you have much more control over the printer. Also, If find that with a workgroup or with Home versions of Windows, The computer will forget the shared printer more often. Mainly because Microsoft makes more money in a domain environment, so that’s what they would encourage.
