Hey everyone, I hope you enjoy the show and be sure to use those affiliate links if you want to get any of the Humble Bundles. 😀 I'll see you later today for Destination Linux LIVE! 😎👍
yeah no, i trust the UK about as much as i do the US, so no thanks.
Thanks for another episode!
TeamSpeak being a proprietary service I don't expect their Matrix server to federate with others. But interesting to hear that they are prepared to tax their servers with Matrix 😀
Using VPN of the Mozilla Corporation: no thanks! I expect it to become just another of their barrel bursts anyway which would mean they wasted another half year and money that could've gone into improving Thunderbird and Firefox.
Regarding a possible video of yours describing the relationship between Wine and Proton I think that could be a very useful video for a lot of people.
Been lurking for a while, but wanted to say thanks for putting out such informative content. I'm learning more about sound in Linux so when you mentioned that Sound Programming in Linux book, my ears perked up. Pulled the trigger on it immediately!
I just installed KDE in Silverblue. Just because it's immutable, doesn't mean you can't change it.
I've got Flatpak 1.6.5, but no way to update to 1.10? Their website just tells me, "Oh, you should already have it built-in!"
Please do a video about WINE and Proton as well as Flatpak 🙏
There are no circumstances under which I'd trust Mozilla with my VPN traffic.
Thank you, Michael.
teamspeak using matrix is really interesting, makes me wonder if this means that you message people on matrix from teamspeak and vice versa
if you said kee-noo-eeteh i would say that sounds cool.
its probably keen-oh-ite it fits with the mineral background
bug for bug compatible ≠ binary compatible tho
speaking of flatpaks
wasn't a in-depth snap video in your bucket list?
fwiw wine always bumps their major version at the start of the year
keen-oh-ite.
Alma = Apple in Hungarian. It is kinda funny running "AppleLinux" on those servers. :)))
Stop supporting mozilla!
Yes, I would be interested in WINE vs PROTON information. I love the inside track on things. AND I prefer the 'keen-oh-ite' pronunciation. Be safe and stay well.
Ok, it's after 6am and I'm awake for some reason. 😉 That Slimbook Titan looks pretty sweet. 1789,00 Euro with 32GB of ram and a 1 TB NVME. Good show, thanks!
