What should a community college instructor or administrator look for when considering an ICT industry partnership? What benefits are there besides access to curriculum? Come listen to Cisco and Ohlone College discuss the Public-Private partnership both inside and outside of the classroom that has been driving student success for 15 years!

Come and learn how a strong industry partnership can foster pathways to college and careers, and provide schools with a STEM program that is continuously updated! Also get some insight into what a strong industry partnership means to administrators, instructors and students. We’ll examine some of the initiatives the Western Academy Support and Training Center (Ohlone College), has created outside of the classroom. You’ll also get a chance to learn about some of the online tools and webinars the WASTC has developed to support the instructor community. This presentation will be delivered jointly by the WASTC and the Cisco Networking Academy. The WASTC is a Cisco Academy Support Center serving CA, NV, and AZ assisting Cisco in providing baseline services to new and existing academies. WASTC also trains new instructors in their other role as a Cisco Instructor Training Center.

The Cisco Networking Academy is a public-private partnership between Cisco and education partners.
