Thank you. Everything worked except when I connect through RDP I am getting the message: your computer could not connect to another console session on the remote computer because you already have a console session in progress. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks

When I run the terminal in the remote desktop, command can't be found or I can't open the web browser. Will you make another video on this?

For all those wondering the method used in the video has become obsolete.
Secondly, WSL is good for development work, not pentesting. I suggest using a VM or a Bare System Install to make the most out of it as a lot of things don't work properly.
However for the year 2020 if you really want the default Kali Desktop do these steps after install

    a) type kali after installing Kali Linux App from MS store.

    b) Change mirrors from – https://http.kali.org/README.mirrorlist
    c) Choose Desired Mirror and use sudo nano/etc/apt/sources.list and edit. Save and sudo apt update.
    d) Install kali metapackages – You can see a list from here. https://tools.kali.org/kali-metapackages
So if you want to install kali-linux-large just type sudo apt install kali-linux-large -y and so on according to your need choose the metapackage.
    e) after installation sudo apt upgrade -y
f)sudo apt update && sudo apt install kali-desktop-xfce
    g) update-alternatives –config x-session-manager
and choose the xfce/session in options

    h) sudo apt install xrdp
    rm -r .cache

    i) sudo nano /etc/xrdp/xrdp.ini
    j) change the port from 3389 to 3390 and save and exit from Nano
    k) sudo /etc/init.d/xrdp start
    l) Open remote desktop connection on windows 10
    m) Type locathost:3390
    n) enter username and password of your kali in the next window

    Ty !

To avoid the problem with lag when using remote desktop you could utilize VcXserv to launch a GUI instead. I haven't tested this myself yet and working on making it work on my system.
