Yo Frankie Blender foundation game running on Raspberry Pi 4 on box86 and wine!
This was me demonstrating that even higher end games like yo Frankie from 2008 could run on box86. For some reason I couldn’t run the linux native binaries and the source files are too old for blender 2.79(which ships with rpi os and Twister os.) However, I got the windows binaries working with wine x86 and that works fine. There is slightly lower framerates, but it’s to be expected even on a modest overclock @2the. But definitely playable! I would guess at least between 20-30fps on the default high settings! There is Gallium hud, which benchmarks the games FPS. So if anyone wants to know framerates, I’ll try to get you info on that.
