Your Home Privacy Appliance: BraxRouter VPN + TOR Router

We will be discussing the details of how the BraxRouter Privacy Appliance works and if it’s something easy enough to use even by non-techies.

We’ll run through the actual details of setup. And then we will discuss the advanced features of BraxRouter related to what it does for protection against hackers, DNS leaks, iPv6 leaks, and acting as a Kill Switch. We will also discuss the Double-NAT, the encryption tunnel, and then compare it to pfSense and DD-WRT.

BraxRouter and BytzVPN are available on the https://brax.Me store.

In the video you say that we get a double NAT when we will use your Brax router with pi-hole. This causes a problem on Xbox as it will register a double Nat and not work correctly. What is your solution for this?

    1. So the brax router is a combo router AND WiFi that connects my wireless devices to internet. Your prior videos showed adding a second WiFi like Netgear behind brax router . 2. I assume this is recommended to cover more distance in the home? 3. If do only this behind the dongle, will I have heat issue and need to do heat syncs for this wired connection? 4. If my current. spectrum first WiFi router is ipv6, will brax router work connected to it without getting spectrum to change theirs to ipv4? Thanks for videos.

A very interesting & informative video. I'm a single-person household at home & only have one laptop computer which connects to the internet via a pre-paid mobile broadband internet connection (which is assigned a mobile phone number & basically connects to the internet via a mobile phone call). This connection is made by inserting a USB dongle (containing the SIM card for the internet service) into one of the laptop's USB ports – so it is basically a cellular internet connection.

I don't have any wired or wi-fi internet connection at home at all, & don't really have a need for one – since the only other "device" in my home is my own mobile phone, which has its own small cellular data supply, which comes with my mobile phone plan (& obviously I don't use that when I'm at home – as I can use my laptop's own internet connection while I'm at home).

So I really don't have to worry about visitors to my home wanting to use my home wi-fi – because I don't have any home wi-fi for them to use, or that level of functionality at all.

While I'm not particularly technically knowledgeable – I believe that, given my computer set-up at home, a Brax Router probably would not be of much use to me – though I may be able to put the Brax Bytz VPN to good use on my laptop, even though my laptop has an internet connection which is basically a cellular connection. I'm wondering if the Bytz VPN needs to use any other hardware apart from my laptop itself – can it just be installed as software on my laptop?

Raspberry Pi has been owned by Microsoft. They use soft from Ms. Read "backdoor".

So im not a tech savvy guy right. I don't mean to insult, but if this is a product you made and you sell, how do i know that this device isn't just sending data to you or elsewhere? How can I verify that it does what you claim? Again, I mean no disrespect. I hope you can understand why I would have reservations connecting this to my network and then logging in to sensitive logins through it.

Youtube have stooped to a new low and are now AUTO-DELETING COMMENTS that include completely innocent, inoffensive and VERY important words like pri-vacy (I have to type it with a dash or the comment will disappear!). Try it out! Unbelievable! This only shows what youtube as a platform stands for. Yet, they are allowing spammers, scammers and s*x bots to roam free even after I report them 100 times over. Good thing there are now alternatives to this pro-censorship platform.

But!!! Who's said that the Raspberry pi it self is secure and does't have BACKDOOR in it? e.g. something like IME.

Off topic but interesting…State of Ohio USA, this government sells your auto title registration to spammers. I know this to be 100% true, the last car I purchased the title clerk insisted I provide a phone # Not thinking too much I provided it, shortly after spam calls selling a extended warranty etc. These have continued for over a year. In the 1960's when I was growing up my Dad bought several new cars, shortly a envelope would arrive in the mail from "Fingerhut" for seat covers, I asked Dad how they knew he said " The state sells the registration " So this has been going on for a very long time.
