  • Very simple and helpful video. Thank you so much! I was having trouble trying to install Ubuntu on windows server 2016 hyper-v VM and found your video useful. Next Im thinking of trying to run domain controller and file sharing using samba.

  • Install NodeJS….before doing any security configuration???? really???? Anyone who followed this and has a port open and exposed has probably been owned by now

  • Informative but I do have one comment regarding the UFW when you turn on the firewall if you are using SSH through terminal to manage your system you will be disconnected unless you create it an exception on Port 22 so somebody that was able to use their computer if they didn’t know this they would all of a sudden be locked out of their computer and have to go to the screen and turn off the fire world war and then come back

  • I just launched my first server, very helpful for someone who is new at it like me.

  • Well done, nicely organised and presented.

  • you are a very detailed, very clearly presented, good speech pattern and cadence. I was able to follow everything logically and easily. And I am a linux beginner. this is my 2nd or 3rd day of playing with installation of a Ubuntu server.

  • apt update – not updates >> that;s why it didn't work on root 😉
