• I switched to 1Password Manager. It's a great alternative to Bitwarden

• Brett, what do you think of Total Defense ? I've always been a little suspicious of Kaspersky. Recently I had my pc in the shop. and the owner told me he only uses Total Defense. He put it on my machine and I love it. It replaces decades of relying on Norton, which is very expensive these days. Total Defense was $75.

• Video. Jitsi is the best option I have found. Free, open source, works from a web browser (has apps too if you so prefer) and respects your privacy without being in the way of your workflow.

• If not for kaspersky we would never have known that our own government was cyber attacking us while blaming it on the russians. I ain't afraid to use Kaspersky it's good it's always been good an pretty much every computer repair tech over the last 20 years has used Kaspersky products daily.Kaspersky Av, rescue disc, Tdskiller, and online scanner are all good tools an have saved many a computer. Today Kaspersky and before you know it all antivirus will be banned over the same fear as kaspersky. Our current corrupt leaders are so paranoid that they will eventually be wanting us to believe that every AV out there is being used by one country or another to spy on america. When they want you to believe that you should be more paranoid about an AV than about who is entering your country by the thousands you know something ain't right!

• Just FYI: What you called U-torrent is in error, the symbol used is the Greek letter mu which is used by math and science to indicate "micro" so the proper name is "Micro-torrent".

• Any time that VLC won't play a file. MPC HC ALWAYS works. So I will keep it.

• MPC-HC project is open source and it simply changed hands. It's last update was on July 18th. It is hosted on Techspot Downloads and is on version 2.3.3.
