Hello Novaspirit Tech
I have a question how to install Firefox the developer edition the same way I mean the .deb version
Thank you
Wifi connection issues in my 22.04 LTS
How do you get rid of Ubunto pro esm apps? Image magic and some other packages that requires for totem (Without totem video files seems to lose their thumbnails) really bothers me in upgrade command.
the first thing I usually do is install flatpak and remove snap then tell it to hold snap so it does not reinstall every update then I go through delete the stuff I don't want/won't ever use and thats with a light install that has no drivers no office software installed I know it takes me more time but I like going through and really thin out the extra stuff I will never use then I go in install my drivers, browser, and steam
I would like to know about Apps to install. I have been a windows user for a long time and would like to migrate fully to Ubuntu
Appreciate the shout out for my deb not snap post!
Very nice video. Pardon me but why i have to use a distribution based on debian when i have to change apt get
7:30 When I try to install Firefox again, I get the error message "syntax error Extra junk after Value" anyone knows how to fix that?
I just downloaded it to a bootbdrive and tested it but confirmed through terminal that my laptop is so old it doesn't support its wifi driver. So I'll check it out more when I finish my new desktop
Sir, i got a huge problem with my Ubuntu desktop version. The thing is that I am facing low fps and stutters in steam games while i already installed Nvidia drivers and everything but still the same problem low fps and lags with high ping in apex legends game. (PC SPECS: i5 9400f RTX 3070,) on Windows everything runs very well without any problem but in Ubuntu its lagging in game. Do you have any solution of this? Because i searched all over the internet but couldn't find anything to solve my problem.
Thank you.
Firefox snap starts very fast for me tho. Maybe it was improved. Great video
Where is the link to uninstall Firefox stuff?
It DOES include some software. You install nala 🙂 You should included disabling the shift-lock and num-lock. (I just remove the key caps and glue the key switch to make sure.)
any idea how to fix Annoying click/popping sound ?
I subscribed. I like your videos you keep it simple and to the point. Thank you and Hi from CANADA. Jan 2023.

Thanks
Brand new to using the Ubuntu desktop so you're moving fast but I'll catch on
Speccs on that computer? seems to go
veryslow!Very useful video. I have to laugh though. Instructions pages needed to uninstall a single app. People bash Windows but you don't need to open literature to uninstall a freaking web browser. haha!
Ok . . .
Cpufreq, tophat, wireguard, caffeine plus 4 or 5 preference fixes (cosmetic). Dunno.
Is there a way to automate some Ubuntu or Linux builds? Eg install nala, vs code, kde, docker, microk8s, etc? I’d like to speed up rebuilding VM rebuilding.
great video. Snap is further evidence that ubuntu is going in the wrong direction. Going with mint will minimize the "tweaks" you have to do, albeit nala will be a great addition to mint too. I use LXDE on mint and it screams!
goes way to fast to follow
thx
Hey, I installed ubuntu and linux mint in my laptop with i5 1235u processor (12 gen intel processor), and it randomly freezes and have to restart. kernel is 5.15. unable to work with it, any suggestions please ?
Can you help me, i installed Ubuntu 22.04 yesterday, and the app store is not loading it shows empty , I tried the codes that they told, please help
What is the note taking app you mentioned? Snippet-box? Flatnotes? I have looked for it on your docker videos but I'm not finding it.
Is there a way to get Ubuntu theme and color highlight picker in Debian? I can't use terminal transparency in Debian either
Hey Don,
How can I enable the touch pad on ubuntu 22.04? the default one that comes with the OS, it used to work for me for the first week but now only two fingers work (three & four fingers) switching between desktop doesn't work. Do I have to install an external program? Thanks!
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
nala-legacy : Depends: libpython3.9 but it is not installable

uname -a
Linux lapy 5.15.0-50-generic #56-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 20 13:23:26 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
using ubuntu 22.04
Wobbly window, compiz window effect, and desktop cube are all very nice extensions to have too.
encore Merci pour cette videos
thank you for sharing! i watched this video just for some free steps that i can directly follow for good practice, but this actually fixed a problem i was having with firefox ignoring gnome themes on Ubuntu, but using the deb version fixed it!
could you help me ?
I can't instal repo for aosp on ubunto 22.04
"Install" is a verb; "installation" is the noun applicable to the act of installing.
i upgraded to newest version and when i try to install in additional drivers newest video card drivers says missing requirements or dependency or what ever for the newest one my drivers i already using is installed and working though
also you say it's slower with snap yet for me i upgraded from last lts and it is mildly faster and firefox is more instant on youtube
ubuntu 22.04.1 why install nala instead of default i'd assume it'd have everything in it for the version except ofcourse addons you gotta add to the repository
There's also the appimage issue on 22.04, idk if it is fixed in the newer versions. Would definitely like if you cover it. thanks 😀
Man I've been an Ubuntu user since 2006 and I'm just so over it. Honestly almost any other distro is better at this point.
Better than removing Firefox & installing it again from DEB instead of SNAP, just install Vivaldi instead. =)
You missed installing LXDE and setting it to be the default window manager.
fedora 36 as my daily driver.
ubuntu for work!!! hahaha
Thank you. I had a non-functioning extension in Firefox after upgrading Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04. You may have answered why that is. I'll try to re-install Firefox according to your recommendation.
There is no such thing as "OOBANTOO".
