  • glad i live in WA as that weather does not look much fun, dont know how you deal with that cold wet mess!!

  • Where are the El Caminos? We all want more El Caminos! We demand more El Caminos. Every week. I know Duff doesn't care for them, but we all know how much you love them, Morticus.

  • Happy NY from Oz. Don't know how you live in that climate!

  • I was thinking I wonder if you dumped some rustoleum rust remover or the CLR flavor into the engine and ran it a few over heating cycles and let it sit for a few days if that would have eaten that rust up.

  • Hey Mortske 👋, I hope your New Year's gets better . Lots of ice and no power = no fun. Thanks for the video. It was great . Have a great week ahead 👍

  • I like the video, but it would be better with an el camino in it.

  • Happy new year, Brent! The trucks looking great, and the bead roller turned out. Awesome!

  • Compressed air and the shop vac at the same time works great.

  • 28 minutes in. So far, so good. Only an hour and 55 to go!

  • Happy New Year, Mort. Now that the holidays are over, can we all stop being so nice, and go back to ignoring each other? 😂

  • Early Ford flathead v-8s were defective castings . 1 bank was 46° the other 44° instead of being 45° . They ran but the defect was corrected sometime later 👍

  • Working on Bernie’s cousin.
    1976 Ford F-250, Supercab, Short Bed, 2WD, 390, 4 speed, Light Blue.

It is a pretty nice truck, all 100% original.

It’s for sale if anyone is interested.

  • Quick tip for any flathead. To remove the head take a 12" length of 1/4" cloths line and feed 1 length into every spark plug hole and spin her over. the head will be sitting an inch off the deck in no time. My project is a 1968 C10, all steel, cammed 5.3LS with a 700r4, 3:73 posi rear. Front disks, exhaust and the big one, the fuel system left to do once the weather breaks. I stuck with the FI, I've done it before on a couple swaps but going with an in-tank pump this time. Not hard, just time consuming. Hope to have it running down the boulevard by Memorial Day. Best laid plans …..

  • Excellent video Mortske 🙂 , Duff Dog 🐕, MOJO 🙂 also only thing that rust up on water problem you can try on next oil change use no synthetic type engine oil , plus before drain plug also oil use bottle of brand Red Seal GUNK put in engine for 5 or 10 mins have in engine oil plus motor running too then 5 or 10 mins up drain engine oil till stops to and do oil filter too ! See oil pan take more out too , also disstle water with Green Prestone Antifreeze 50/50 and put 200 ml of 80w90 differential fluid in rad run thru to! Also drain to after 1 hour drive too ! Also check Rad cap if rust or dirty soak in Vinegar 50% and Hot water 50% mix up together too! Before do Water and Antifreeze mix to running thru and bet help out on Vinegar and water mix running with engine running for 30 to 1 hour then drain it also do Antifreeze with Water to after! See what happens too and should help out ! Happy New Year 2024 Mortske & everyone too also !

  • ThermoCure is a product made by the same people who make EvapoRust. I use it and it really cleans the water jacket out. I use it every fall in my hot rods I run straight water in for the dragstrip.
Research it. It’s not too pricey

  • Should have done a quick vacuum then did a powerwash.but still. I love that truck. Sounds like an old bus…Just love it.

  • I'm working on a 74 ford Highboy . A previous owner had flipped the front axle to the top of the springs and removed the rear axle spacer blocks to replace them with a 1 inch variety. (Not sure why)I'm putting it back to a more original stance.

  • Saw another channel ( No Nonsense know How), use a sock end to form a cup on the intake to the rad to trap all the rust coming out a block and it worked real well ….run it for a couple miles at a time and dump the sock a few times….when it seemed he got it all he bought a proper filter you can insert at the same location in line !

  • Dead blow hammer on the vehicle ice. Works great. 👍

  • There was a ole timer lived around me in mi that drove a model A he ran kerosene for coolant in the winter said in worked great didn't freeze and kept his engine cle rust free.
