The repair kit turned up so I fitted it. Unfortunately, I didn’t work so I had to bite the bullet and buy a brand new regulator which cost £105 (the joys of convertibles). Fortunately, it has fixed the problem and Vic now has windows which go up and down and will keep the interior warm & dry.
