25 Internet of Things — IP Addresses (IPV4 & DNS)

There are two types of IP addresses:
IPv4
IPv6
IPv4 supports three different types of addressing modes
Unicast Addressing Mode
Broadcast Addressing Mode
IP Address Format
Network ID represents the IP Address of the network and is used to identify the network.
Host ID represents the IP Address of the host and is used to identify the host within the network.

Multicast Addressing Mode
The IPv4 Addressing system is divided into five classes of IP Addresses.
Class A Address
Class B Address
Class C Address
Class D Address
Class E Address

Types Of IP Address
IP Addresses may be of the following two types-
Static IP Address
Dynamic IP Address
