• one must not forget that the speed test only shows megab bits and no megabytes

  8 Mb(its)ps are just 1 Mbyte
  in your one test with 45 Mbps, that's just 4.4 MB ….

  I have the same problem here in Germany …. my Mbps are just 16mbits (2MB) ……..

  I'm also curious if the ordered antenna really helps

• Hanging the green screen behind you is just half the equation. You should import something interesting or exotic to replace the green screen (chroma key) behind you and up your game

• Well actually this would be really good to use as a fall back internet for me like I could get a USP to and have a internet phone hooked up to it so internet and phone through power outages

• How will blazing hog help me if my 100mbps cable/fibre plan with 5 ping is $40 and 500mbps is $60 and most expensive fibre gig is the same price as there unlimited plan lol plus all my cable tires are unlimited and come with a basic cable tv stream package

• It's better off you get the 45dbi antenna with the shorter connectors and put it on a dish and detune it a lil bit by weatherproofing it. I'll do a video on that soon once I have everything hooked up.

• will this work with the telstra night hawk m2 would it make it better i live out in the bush i only get 2 bars reception

• I used to get only 20 Mbps, but then I got a new router. I got the ZTE MF288 on Ebay for $79. I got it a bit less with a $15 coupon from Ebay. I've seen 85 Mbps down and 21 Mbps up with a signal of -99 dBm using the internal antennas. It is using LTE-CA. It has 4×4 mimo (The device has 5 antenna ports, all for cellular). Could I used 2 2×2 mimo antennas to achieve 4×4 mimo?

  PS: Lock your Speedtest server to an AT&T server for best results. It is best practice to use the same server to get accurate results.

• You need to run the test arial on, off, on, off, on, off in quick succession and of course find the best angle for the arial first.. Signal can change constantly.

• It's only a test when you compare without and with the external antenna..

• After you affix the antenna to a window you have to turn it clockwise/counterclockwise until you find the best signal. It's a pain but it works.

• I'm only getting 2bars I'm in a country area where CenturyLink 2mb is my only option..my modem came this weekend and my speeds are better but will this antenna boost my signal inside my home

• Try selecting the frequency that your internet provider uses, maybe that will reduce the interferences (than can usually be done by accessing your router's settings). And also try switching from 4G to 3G (it usually has good results during the day, but that is not always the solution), but switching from 4G to 3G also increases your ping a little. And if you can't change the settings back, just reset the router.
