4G LTE – NAS Layer Functions

In this tutorial, we have discussed the functions and protocols of the NAS layer. NAS (Non-Access Stratum) is the layer 3 of the LTE protocol stack, which is the top most protocol layer in the LTE control plane stack. We have also discussed EPS Mobility Management and EPS Session Management entities in the NAS layer.
