  • Can I use ad blocker in the web browser and use Youtube without ads in Ubunto Touch?

  • 2:18 the difference is that when they end support on ios you can just throw it away, and in android you unlock the boot loader and install lineage lmao

  • Ubuntu touch os is greater than grapheneos or calyx os to best privecy ?

  • Dude can you run Da Vinci resolution for Ubuntu touch

  • isnt #1 the same as #4? + ubuntu touch requires flashing or using a gsi just like custom roms. I have phones that can run android 11 that are really old

  • Really wanted to escape Android etc. But Linux phone are a waste of time unless you're a developer.

  • I am running Ubuntu Touch on a One Plus One and though it runs fairly well, it yet doesn't perform like Phones on the Android and Apple's iOS. Also the Openstore in Ubuntu Touch is super lacking of good apps, not all work well and are very few. The web browser also isn't the best. I've observed that though you have Ubuntu Touch on that phone, you are using it connected to wifi only? So this tells me that phone isn't your daily driver. For some one that wants to just use Ubuntu Touch for tinkering then it's a good choice from all the Linux Phone OS options. UBPorts have been working on this OS for sometime now, it still isn't good enough though in my opinion and would take more time to get it to go toe to toe with iOS and Android. You can some what run Android apps using Anbox but it's still very rough and buggy. Also run to some degree Linux desktop apps (x86) since Ubuntu Touch you are on an ARM processor it runs very slow using Libertine. Thanks for sharing your video.

  • I am a long time Ubuntu user, I never knew Ubuntu phone was taken over by UBports just discovered. I will get it myself it seems well done. Read only command line? it would be nice to see terminal use on it.
