Our honest feedback
The game was love at first site. As soon as we looked for Defold examples on itch.io, we saw the thumbnail and we knew that we had to play the game and to review it.
The game is a pixel art cooperative shooter with an oblique view that allows to see clearly all the details of the game.
Up to 4 players can play cooperatively in a pos-apocalyptical world filled with dangerous zombies of different types that can attack you at any time.
You can shoot in all directions while you move, but you have to make sure to save some amno, as you can be out of fire power for a couple of seconds while recovering energy.
The same happens to your life which makes you having to manage correctly attacking/defending and running away from the enemies.
You have to make several missions as you move through the world, talking and increasing your skill in local stores spread across the map.
The Pseudo 3d effect achieved by the view and incredible construction of the world make it a very charming game to look at while playing, and that some times makes you forget the mission and just explore the world.
Character design and animations is really great and full fill their objective quite well.
The controls are sharp and very precise, which makes you to feel totally control of the game at all time.
We can’t wait to see the final version of the game.

Defold is a free to use, source available, 2d/3d game engine with a developer-friendly license. Defold is owned and developed by the Defold Foundation.
It was originally bought and used by King Entertainment, which later on gave it back to the Defold Foundation.
King still uses the game engine in some of its games.
