Ahana was founded as the first company focused on bringing PrestoDB-based ad hoc analytics offerings to market and working to foster growth and evangelize the Presto community. While Presto is in large-scale production deployment at large internet companies like Facebook, Uber, and Twitter, Ahana’s mission is to simplify ad hoc analytics for organizations of all shapes and sizes.
Inspired by the success of PrestoCon 2020, the Linux Foundation is hosting a special half-day event for the PrestoDB community called PrestoCon Day on March 24.
We are covering the event remotely and hosting a series of interviews and panel discussions for the event in which we will talk to some of the core members of the PrestoDB community. In this interview, Dipti Borkar, Co-founder & Chief Product Officer at Ahana kick-starts the PrestoCon Day Coverage at TFiR.
Dipti Borkar is the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Ahana, the PrestoDB company. She has over 15 years of experience in data and database technology across relational and non-relational. Prior to Ahana, Dipti was VP of Product & Marketing at Alluxio, and VP Product Marketing at Kinetica and Couchbase.
