Customizing Ubuntu 20.04 in 5 minutes tutorial
!****Google Chrome is required to add Gnome extensions.****!
To install Google chrome, just enter these commands one at a time to the terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t to open the terminal)
wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
After this you will be able to locate Google chrome in your apps.
Commands ( Follow the order and refer the video to avoid confusions ) ———————————
//Importing the GPG public key of the PPA automatically
sudo add-apt-repository
//Installing Gnome Tweaks
sudo apt install gnome-tweak-tool
//Disable vanila ubuntu docks
gnome-extensions disable ubuntu-dock@ubuntu.com
// Gnome extentions Website – https://extensions.gnome.org/
// First extention to change the dock – Dash to Dock
//Installing Numix Circle icon pack (Enter one by one)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa
sudo apt-get install numix-icon-theme-circle
// Second extention to change minimize animation (mac os like) – Compiz alike magic lamp effect
// Wallpaper used – https://wallpapercave.com/download/4k-for-pc-wallpapers-wp6058956?nocache=1
